Sındırgı was declared a "disaster area"

AK Party Deputy Chairman and Balıkesir Deputy Belgin Uygur announced that Sındırgı has been declared a disaster area.

Following the 6.1 magnitude earthquakes that occurred in Sındırgı, Balıkesir on August 10 and October 27, teams continue their demolition and debris removal efforts. A new decision has been made regarding the district where numerous aftershocks have also occurred.

"DECLARED A DISASTER AREA"
In the statement made by AK Party member Uygur regarding the region, the following statements were included: "With the decision numbered 1530876 by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) of the Ministry of Interior, our Sındırgı district has been declared a 'Disaster Area with General Impact.' This decision is the clearest indicator that our state is handling the process seriously and that all fieldwork is being monitored at an institutional level.
